JOHN VIZZUSI, Florida USA.
A California native now based in Central Florida, Vizzusi, produces, writes & directs "Behind the Indie Camera" a Documentary Television Series and TV Talk Show currently running on Public Television. The award winning series explores the Indigenous Independent Filmmaker in the State of Florida and currently airs on The VISION Network in Central Florida to a daily audience of a half a million.

He is the Filmmaker behind the Feature Documentary "From the Field's to Your Table" which investigates the Citrus Industry and the Migrant Farmworkers in the South-Eastern United States. The Program ran the first season on PBS-POV and is currently in International Distribution. "OCEAN POND" recounts the proclaimed Massacre at Olustee and speaks out against the Civil War Battle in Florida in 1864. In 2006, John created "End Torture Now" a PSA Series for C.A.I.R. Florida in association with the ACLU that brought to light the problems at Gitmo.

Within his boutique Indie Film Company "Central State Productions" he has either Produced, Directed, Photographed or Written Documentary projects for; "Hear My Hands", Deaf Reporter Series, The Economic Development Commission of Mid-Florida, CAIR-Florida, the ACLU-Jacksonville as well as Dolger Film's "Angels Among Us" and LUNA Guitars.

He is currently Touring Internationally his new Feature Documentary Film titled "ELECTRIC HEART" don ellis, (www.donellisfilm.com) the long awaited story of the Man, His Times and the Music of Don Ellis. The Film's Premiere in 2007 in Los Angeles was sold out and the Film was nominated for Best Feature Documentary Film in its first Film Festival and continues to win awards Internationally.

"My ultimate goal continues to be Producing, Writing & Directing mainly non-fictional Short and Long Subject Documentary Films that can have a positive effect on Society and Educate others to contemporary issues and historical topics that have been forgotten in History."

John is a outstanding Member of The International Documentary Association. (IDA)

As a Media-Writer John's writings have been published within Focus In, Create Magazine, Florida Film Monthly as well as Film Festival.com website.
