Interesting Film - Leaves some questions
a Uncounted film review
The film raises many questions about the things that happened in 2000, 2004, and 2006 elections. It showed many strange things, including how machines do not give you an accurate paper trail. However it did not address how previous machines did not do that either. On the old lever machines, you voted but were not 100% sure your vote was recorded the way you voted either. The film did raise immediate concerns about vote tampering and vote flipping, as well as the over-reaching power of election machine manufacturers. It is a good movie to see and partners quite well with the HBO Documentary Hacking Democracy which shows the flaws in the optical scan machines, and how easily they can be manipulated.
