a Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price film review
This movie was absolutely amazing. I worked at a hospital and it drove me crazy all the people that were on government assistance and knowing that Wal-Mart is a huge advocate of living off of the system really makes me dislike them more than I already do. I had a co worker that worked in a different department at the hospital that I worked for.I don't know all of the exact details but she was diagnosed years ago with breast cancer. She had a double mastectomu and went into remission maybe two years later and the doctors told her they found cancer in part of her lung so she had to get part of her lung removed. When she was going through chemo for the second time with all the side effects and trying to work two jobs with only missing a day here n there from being sick and her surgery. The manager of WalMart sat her down and told her that if she missed anymore days that they would have to let her go. Her doctors have recently found breast cancer in her lungs again and her kidney so I highly doubt she will be working for WalMart much longer. I have also watched the movie "Capitalism" which tells how WalMart takes out life insurance policies on their employees so literally their employees are worth more to them dead than alive. Absolutely disgraceful. It makes me embaraced to even say that I have shopped there
